From November 2014 was elected people’s deputy of Ukraine, worked as First Deputy of Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Foreign Affairs, headed the Permanent Delegation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in the NATO Parliamentary Assembly. Co-author of the book "Black Sea Region: Cooperation and security." Fluent in Ukrainian, Russian and English. Understands and speaks Polish, Hungarian and Georgian.
